The Consecrated Women of Regnum Christi in the North American Territory announce the appointment of a new territorial director, Katie Tuttle, who will assume this role for a three-year term following the completion of Kathleen Murphy’s six years of dedicated service. The appointment was made by Nancy Nohrden, the general director, with the consent of her council, in accordance with the Constitutions. She will begin her appointment on August 1st, once her council members are appointed in May.
Katie Tuttle was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. She met the Consecrated Women on a Regnum Christi mission trip to Mexico for Holy Week during her senior year of high school. She began discerning her vocation while studying at the University of Dayton and was consecrated in 2003. After her consecration, she worked as an assistant secretary in the Office of the Territorial Director, and as a mentor and formator for the young women in the Immaculate Conception Program in Michigan. In 2016, she moved to Houston to work in young adult and vocational ministry. She has been serving as the director of the consecrated community in Houston since 2019, a member of the Houston RC Local College since 2025, and a member of the Territorial Council of the Consecrated Women of Regnum Christi since 2023, serving this last year as territorial vicar.
Katie shares,
“As I begin this new role, I look forward with great hope to walking together with my consecrated sisters and the entire Regnum Christi Family in the beautiful mission of revealing Christ’s love to the world. I am grateful for God’s goodness and love, shown through the many people I have had the grace to know, as well as for Kathleen’s personal accompaniment over these past years.”

Fr. Shawn Aaron, LC, territorial director of the Legionaries of Christ in North America, thanks Katie for answering God’s call to this new role, sharing
“I have always appreciated Katie’s unaffected joyfulness, her strong commitment to those under her care and her collaborative spirit of teamwork. Besides all this, she is a consummate long-distance runner which reveals her hard work and stamina.”

As territorial director of the Consecrated Women, Katie will also be a member of the Territorial Directive College (TDC), the governing body of Regnum Christi in North America. Fr. Aaron Smith, LC, who serves as the TDC delegate, believes Katie will bring valuable qualities to the college,
