Consecrated Women of Regnum Christi Elect their General Director for 2026 to 2032

After three weeks of intense working sessions, the delegates of the III Ordinary General Assembly reflected and discerned about topics of great relevance to the life and mission of the Society of Apostolic Life. These included the vision of the next six years comprising their apostolic projection. It also included the living of evangelical poverty; the plans for financial sustainability; ongoing formation; the possibility of a contemplative lifestyle in Regnum Christi; and proposed modifications to proper law. This process of discernment and decision making culminated in today’s vote, in which the Consecrated Women of Regnum Christi re-elected Nancy Nohrden as General Director

The appointment reflects reaffirmed trust in Nancy’s guidance and accompaniment, as well  as gratitude for the path the Consecrated Women have traveled during her previous six-year term during which she exercised a service of authority that was characterized by peace and closeness, helped to strengthen the identity of the Consecrated Women, and accompanied the important processes of growth and co-responsibility that happened in this period. During her first term, the orientation of the Society of Apostolic Life of the Consecrated Women of Regnum Christi was consolidated and important foundations were established for future development, aligned with the mission and challenges of the present moment.

During her next six-year term, Nancy will continue to accompany the life and mission of the Consecrated Women of Regnum Christi, fostering fidelity to the charism, communion in the Regnum Christi Federation, and an apostolic response that commits to meet the challenges of the Church and today’s world. The work of the next six years will include the implementation of the plan for apostolic projection and strengthening a governing style based on the principles of participation, co-responsibility, information, and subsidiarity. It will also be focused on fostering the strengthening, expansion, communion, and institutional unity of the Regnum Christi Federation.
