On December 9th, 2023 within the sacred walls of St. Ann Parish in Dallas, USA, the Consecrated Women of Regnum Christi gathered to celebrate a special moment in the life of Jill Dominy. In response to a divine calling, Jill, embraced the consecrated life in a deeper way by making her final vows of poverty, chastity and obedience to our Lord in the parish where she grew up in. This ceremony, reminiscent of a joyous wedding day, marked the culmination of her journey to devote herself exclusively to Christ as His bride. The Mass, celebrated with reverence and joy, gave a glimpse into consecrated life as a piece of ‘Heaven on earth’ (see the highlights video below).
Jill´s journey began in high school when she encountered the Consecrated Women of Regnum Christi at a vocation’s talk at her parish. After earning a BA in Theology from the University of Dallas, she furthered her studies at Notre Dame´s Echo program, seamlessly blending her academic pursuits with practical experience working in a parish setting.
Once she made the first step to join Regnum Christi, she went to Monterrey, Mexico, for Candidacy, where she made her first vows after two years of intentional discernment. Jill continued her spiritual journey in Madrid, Spain, focusing on Spiritual Theology at the University of Comillas. In 2020, she moved to Germany to support the Regnum Christi Young Adult Section.
Now residing in Atlanta since 2022, Jill continues to works with young adults, exemplifying her love for accompanying others on their journey with Christ. Whether preaching retreats or engaging in outdoor activities, she radiates a vibrant spirit that enriches all she meets and serves.
