A home for the Consecrated Women of Regnum Christi in the Holy Land

By Celine Kelly

The consecrated women of Regnum Christi are celebrating twenty years of presence in the Holy Land. Our mission began in Jerusalem and, over time, has extended to Magdala (Galilee), where we continue to serve the many pilgrims who come seeking the Lord and desiring to grow in their spiritual life. We are deeply grateful to God for the privilege of living in this blessed land. It is a true joy to accompany people from all over the world on their journey of faith.

After spending several years in rented apartments, the time came to look for a permanent home near Magdala — a place that would not only meet the needs of our consecrated life but also allow us to better welcome and serve those we accompany. One of our greatest hopes was to have a chapel: a sacred space to encounter the Lord and be spiritually renewed amidst the demands of our daily apostolic work.

We began by exploring the surrounding area until we found a location that was well-suited for our community. We then shared our dream with friends and benefactors, inviting them to take part in this mission. Today, we are overjoyed to announce that, thanks to the support of more than 100 generous donors from around the world, our dream has become a reality — we have received the keys to our new home.

We are thrilled to share that this Domus Mariae offers a breathtaking view over the Sea of Galilee — a daily reminder of the Lords presence.

We are now moving forward with the next phase: adapting the building to the specific needs of our community. Several areas require renovations, especially plumbing, electrical systems, and painting. But what brings us the greatest joy is preparing our chapel, so that the Lord may always be at the heart of our home and our lives.

We are sincerely grateful to all who have supported us and continue to walk with us during this important time. You, your families, and your intentions will remain in our prayers.

We eagerly await the day when we can welcome you to our home.
May God bless you and reward you a hundredfold.
